So as I was happily grabbing my heart gem and saying good job to the other players, one of the DPS guys suddenly types “LOL” about 15 times in the chat box. But that’s a whole other topic I’ll talk about in another post. Tha’ts another pet peeve of mine with regard to overly rigid rules for dungeon roles. Now I can already hear some of you saying that “sword and shield isn’t a DPS build”, which is absolute nonsense, of COURSE it can be. I was sword and shield DPS along with two other DPS guys, I think one was hatchet and the other was great axe. So while it might sound silly to some, I was pretty proud of myself that I not only didn’t screw up the expedtion for everybody, but that I helped it succeed. I have anxiety and when I group up with other players in MMOs I just have to deal and cope with it. I don’t think anybody’s health even went below half in the boss fights.Īt any rate, when we brought down Simon Grey, I was so excited and happy that we had done it. And we finished the expedition and none of us even came close to dying. Avoid falling off of the steep precipices, try to stay as a group in the heal circle, let the tank aggro, don’t go off and pull mobs on your own, etc. I was nervous I would screw up somehow, but I stayed within my role and kept aware of what was happening. I mean the fundamentals of the classic dungeon roles isn’t rocket science. It went pretty much text book, everybody did their roles correctly, healer healed, tank held aggro, me and the other two DPS got around the sides and backs of bosses to get crits and get good damage, etc. You’ll also find new armors such as the Sneak Suit and Mad Scientist Scrubs to make your life in the Mojave easier.After much anxiety and procrastination, I finally did my first Amrine expedtion run. New Perks and Weapons: Old World Blues increases the level cap by 5 and introduces a range of new weapons including the Sonic Emitter, K9000 Cyberdog Gun, Proton Axe, and several varieties of Mad Scientist Gloves such as the Sterilizer Glove and Corrosive Fist.

New Enemies: Confront the surgically-altered Lobotomites, bizarre robot scorpions, the dead occupants of the Y-17 Trauma Harnesses as well as the terrifying disembodied brain, Dr.Even better, find and upgrade your own home base, the Sink, within the Big Empty's central dome!
