DmC includes an additional DLC chapter, Vergil's Downfall, which chronicles the story of Vergil, as a playable character, after the events of the main game. The PC version was released on January 25th. The console versions were released on January 15th, 2013 in North America, Australia and Europe and January 18th in Japan. The game is not related to the events that occurred in the numbered games as it is a reboot of the franchise. DE was an earnest attempt by an actual devil may cry fan to fix its problems, without sam's passion we wouldn't have gotten a great version of the game, instead we'd have the "Just okay" one.DmC: Devil May Cry is a video game developed by Ninja Theory and was published by Capcom for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Sam really did make those improvements as mods and he really did have a hand in making DE a thing. Please sub to my buddy, DE exists thanks to him.ĮDIT: Downvoting me doesn't change the fact that i'm telling the truth.

Point being, because almost all of the changes sans frame data and input/cancel windows were entirely mods made by him, they must've figured that anyone and their mother could make DE on PC with modding. I doubt he was in favor of the choice, but they met him halfway on that. the official blue and red enemies being hittable thing was toned down unfortunately.

I know the "Blue and red" enemies were modded by him, the multi-angel dash was also his as well. When definitive edition was being made, he was one of the testers, and he also had quite a bit of input in the choices. this was strictly for promotional purposes, but given he was one of the few fans vocal in his support of the game, they saw him as an opportunity to enhance the game. So he went and made the gameplay trailer. He ended up making this trailer they gave him a few official trailer vid pieces and then told him to edit his gameplay into it. Sam D, a close friend of mine, made most of the changes, originally they were pc mods but then capcom saw his improvements and asked him to help.
